How It's Made

At Fount of Grace, every piece of jewelry we create is the result of meticulous, old-school craftsmanship. Each design begins with a hand-drawn sketch, thoughtfully conceptualized to reflect beauty and faith. From there, we use advanced technology to refine every detail. Once cast in sterling, each piece is individually hand-finished and polished by skilled artisans, ensuring the highest quality and attention to detail. This is not mass production — this is time-honored, hands-on craftsmanship.

All of our designs are unique to Fount of Grace, made entirely in the USA, and thoughtfully created to accompany you on your faith journey.

Step 1: Design Begins

We start with a sketch that’s turned into a 3D computer model. Our team collaborates on the perfect the size, shape, and design.

Step 2: Creating the Master

The digital file guides a CNC machine to carve a detailed prototype.

Step 3: The Master

Once finalized, we create a mold from the master.

Step 4: Wax Injecting

We inject the mold with wax to make multiple wax versions of each piece.

Step 5: Preparing the Cast

The wax pieces are attached to a central “tree” and encased in plaster. The wax is burned away and molten sterling silver is poured to replace the void.

The outcome after sterling is poured in is a sterling "tree" of cast pieces.

Step 6: Finishing Touches

The silver pieces are cut from the tree, then carefully cleaned, soldered, and hand-finished.

The Finished Product

From our shop to your home, each of our pieces is meticulously crafted just for you.
