Hand-cast in sterling silver then plated in 14k gold vermeil and hand finished. The overall measurements include ear wire: 1.5" x .5" wide or 38mm x 12mm.

Our beautifully detailed openwork Auspice Maria earrings feature an intertwining "A" and "M" to signify Auspice Maria, the Blessed Mother's signature monogram. Auspice Maria is Latin for "Under the Protection of Mary."  We designed these earrings based on an old French medal that was created to commemorate the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, which states that Mary was free from original sin.

French Auspice Maria Earrings

These earrings are very pretty. The gold vermeil highlights the design details and the earring placement on the clasp allows a frontal display that catches the light and invites others to enjoy them. Earrings arrived in a pretty box with a lovely card. Wonderful caring customer service!
