Our sterling Chi-Rho necklace pendant features one of the earliest symbols of Christ. The image is arranged as a monogram, comprising the first two letters, XP, - of the Greek word ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ (Christos). First presented publicly in the fifth century, it has been found in catacomb inscriptions of the second century. The "A" and "Ω" likely added later, represent the Greek letters that denote Christ as the "Alpha" and the "Omega" as Jesus refers to Himself in Revelation 21:6: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end."
