Our St. Benedict pendant is hand cast and polished to preserve the many details including 36 images and Latin phrases inscribed upon it. Saint Benedict was born in Italy, around the year 480. The twin brother of Saint Scholastica, he is considered to be the father of Western monasticism. He is known for his teachings on the importance of prayer, work, and community, and also for his devotion to the spiritual battles against evil.
