What is Vermeil? (And why you should have some!)
Vermeil jewelry is one of the hottest trends today because it looks like pure gold to the naked eye, and it provides the perfect blend of exceptional quality and affordability. Vermeil (pronounced “ver-may”) is sometimes confused with gold plating, however, industry standards including the thickness and quality of the gold is what really sets vermeil jewelry apart from simple gold plated pieces. The thickness of the gold portion must be a hefty 2.5 microns and the gold portion must be 14, 18 or 24 karats. Another key quality factor is that a vermeil piece must have a sterling silver base (instead of brass or cheaper metals).
If you want to build a collection of high-quality jewelry without the pure gold price tag, gold vermeil is a fantastic option.
Each of our exclusive pieces is designed in-house using high-end computer-aided design (CAD) programs and computer-aided machine (CAM) tooling to produce exquisite details. Once molded, the pieces are cast and finished by hand to ensure excellence and longevity!
A wonderful gift for girls of all ages!
